Fundraising Events
Endless possibilities. Choose an event and collect sponsorship. You could sing, swim, dance, sleep in or out to help out, eat or be silent.
Plan an Event
Put on an event and sell tickets, a quiz, a gig, comedy, art or a fashion show and sell tickets. This is a great way to raise money, it’s also good fun.
Coffee Mornings / Afternoon Tea Party
Why not get baking and invite family, friends or colleagues round to enjoy some shared connection and community spirit, helping yourself and others. You could request a small donation or hold a raffle and sell tickets.
Car Boot Sales
Set up a table for Knight Support at a car boot sale and sell your unwanted bric-a-brac.
Give a Gift Card
Unwanted and unused gift cards are gratefully accepted, these can be used to help people in need.
If you have planned a great event, don’t forget to contact your local press. The more people who know about your efforts, the more money and awareness you’re likely to raise. Knight Support would be proud to share your good will across our social media.
The best way to manage your fundraising is to set up a personal fundraising page via Just Giving which is a simple way to collect your donations and sponsorship. or GoFundMe.

Volunteer
We currently have requirement for weekday ad hoc collections and deliveries, and Sunday evening outreach volunteers.
The weekday positions will be collecting donations from people and dropping to one of our sites, or moving clothing/equipment from one of our sites to one of the projects that we support.
Our Sunday evening Outreach is held every week at 6.15pm at the Peace Statue on the seafront by the Brighton and Hove border. At Outreach we help our rough sleeping community by distributing much needed clothing, tents and sleeping bags etc. We are joined by partner groups who supply hot and cold food and drinks.
We are fast approaching winter and being able to support our homeless and vulnerable community is even more vital, so a reliable group of volunteers is much needed. We don't expect all our volunteers to be available every week so to make sure we always have enough helpers we have a rota in place and ask that everyone makes the effort to join us when "it's their turn".
We are in the process of introducing Adult Safeguarding training and all our volunteers, current and future, will need to complete this training when it is available.
If you think you can help out, please contact us.
